Clearing at the End of the Day
Reviewing your day before you go to sleep can be a wonderful way to discover and clear any energy you have picked up that is not yours and does not represent the truth of your being. This helps you sleep more soundly and wake up with more energy.
Before falling asleep, make contact with your divine Self during a few moments of inner stillness. Open to receive all that It has for you in the moment. Every contact, whether you are aware of your divine Self or not, strengthens your ability to create a fulfilling life.
Sit quietly after you connect with your divine Self and listen within. Ask your innermost Self to bring to your awareness any energy you need to clear from the day. As you do this, you might become aware of whether you have picked up any beliefs about reality or negative pictures about the future that you do not want as yours, perhaps from being around others, through the news, or from other sources. You might have picked up negative beliefs about aging, your body, relationships, or abundance, or other thoughts you want to release.
Scan your emotions. Are you experiencing any of the emotional energy you were around, such as irritation, discouragement, upset, or other unsettling feelings? Think of anytime you felt slightly off-balance, less confident, or unsure of yourself. Identify the thoughts and beliefs that might have triggered these feelings, or the general energy that led to them. If they are still with you, link with your divine Self to release them.
Let come to mind any self-judgment, self-recrimination, guilt, or anxiety you may be feeling over anything you said or did. It is very healing to clear these and not let them further affect you.
Is there anything else from today you could clear? Bring everything into the beautiful, radiant light of your divine Self until it reveals the nothingness of the energies you encountered and any that people projected onto you.
Picture going through your day tomorrow, being alert to the energy you are around and not accepting as your reality any thoughts, judgments, beliefs, or emotions that you do not want. Imagine divine perfection unfolding throughout the day as you experience and are able to sustain a clear, joyful state of being.
Clearing Thoughts about Your Physical Body
Throughout your lifetime you have accumulated a number of thoughts and beliefs about your body. It is important to be conscious of these thoughts and beliefs so you can let go of those you do not want to be your truth.
Pick an area of your physical body to work with in order to clear any negative thoughts and pictures you may have about it. This might be something such as your teeth, eyes, ears, nose, hair, bones, hands, feet, hips, heart, liver, kidneys, elbows, knees, ankles, weight, fitness level, general health, energy level, and so on. You might be amazed to discover how many negative, fearful thoughts you have about your body, which you have picked up from your culture, family, and friends, and from the media and the mass of general thoughts that exist “out there.”
Make contact with your divine Self and shine Its radiant light on the part of your body you want to focus on. In this light, let surface any stories, thoughts, and feelings about this part of your body that would be to your benefit to release. What pictures do you have about how well this part of your body is working or not working? Are you giving energy to a possible problem that may occur in the future? How do you feel when you think about this area? Is there something you are afraid might go wrong in this area? What thoughts about aging might you hold in this part of your body?
You do not need to accept these concerns as your truth. As you release them, you will be dissipating the energy that these thoughts and beliefs might have and lessening the possibility that they will influence your health and well-being.
Shine your inner light on any concerns whenever they appear. These negative thoughts are not supported by any spiritual law. They are not showing you the true reality of your divine Self that shines forth from within you, radiating health and well-being. Recognize that these lesser thoughts have no power. They are just thoughts, and you do not need to give them energy. You do not have to clear all of them at once; you only need to clear those that come to mind.
Afterward, be open to any inner guidance showing you something you can do right now for greater health and physical well-being. Enjoy being in a clear state in which you are in touch with your body, open and listening to it. In this clear state you are responding only to the messages that come from your greater Self, and not those that come from mass consciousness. As you continue clearing lesser pictures of your body, you can enjoy better health, freedom from fear, and a sense of peace and well-being.
One man was told by his dentist that he needed to have some of his molars pulled because they were crowding out his other teeth and causing a lot of problems. The man’s friends told him it would be painful to pull them out, which made him even less eager to get them removed. He also realized he was emotionally attached to his teeth and did not really want to let go of them.
After trying everything he could to save these teeth, he realized that having them pulled was his best option. He was determined to clear any fears or negative pictures about the procedure. He worked on releasing his attachment to these teeth, thanking them for their years of service and sending them love. He linked with his divine Self to clear any thoughts of pain and difficulty that others had told him to expect. He realized these were just thoughts that existed in mass consciousness and that this did not need to be his truth.
During the procedure, he connected with his divine Self and continued to reject negative thoughts. At the moment when the dentist pulled each tooth, he made a brief contact with his divine Self and held a positive picture of how easy it would be. To the great surprise of both his dentist and himself, the teeth came out so easily that they almost fell out. He had very little pain afterward and healed quickly.
