Jim Manney

Jim Manney is a graduate of Saint Peter’s University in Jersey City, New Jersey. He has worked as a newspaper reporter, a corporate communicator, a technical writer, a magazine editor, and a book editor for several Catholic publishers. He was a senior editor at Loyola Press from 1998 until his retirement in 2014. He is the author of A Simple, Life-Changing Prayer; God Finds Us; What’s Your Decision?; What Do You Really Want?; and Ignatian Spirituality A to Z. He also compiled and edited Charged with Grandeur: The Book of Ignatian Inspiration and An Ignatian Book of Days. He is the founding editor of the popular website IgnatianSpirituality.com and the blog dotMagis, where he has contributed hundreds of blog posts. He has published videos on the Daily Examen and other Ignatian topics, and has taught courses and workshops on Ignatian spirituality. Jim and his wife, Susan, have four adult children and live in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
