Nita Landry, MD, OB-GYN

Nita Landry, MD, known as “Dr. Nita,” is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist and a cohost of the Emmy Award–winning talk show The Doctors. She has also been featured as a go-to medical expert on television programs such as Good Morning America (with Strahan, Sara, and KeKe), the Today show, Dr. Phil, Iyanla: Fix My Life, and CBS National News. After completing her medical residency, Dr. Nita became a traveling doctor, which took her to inner cities, rural towns, and Native American reservations from Alaska to New York, Minnesota to Texas, and lots of places in between. As she worked in clinics and hospitals across the country, she gained a wealth of knowledge and insight into the health issues most important to patient populations from all walks of life. In addition to her work as a doctor, Dr. Nita enjoys inventing fun and innovative ways to deliver vital health information to the communities who need it, especially to those who are young, vulnerable, and underserved. As a frequent speaker on college campuses and at events across the country, she is committed to helping teens and young adults become healthier, happier versions of themselves. Dr. Nita enjoys listening to live music, relaxing on the beach, and spending time with her friends and family. And she is a huge fan of New Orleans cuisine.
