Sara Avant Stover

Sara Avant Stover is a motivational speaker, teacher, mentor, and founder and director of The Way of the Happy Woman®. The second oldest of four sisters and a Phi Beta Kappa and summa cum laude graduate of Columbia University’s Barnard College, Sara has spent her life delving into the center of her feminine heart, while inspiring and empowering others along the way. Sara took her first yoga class at age eighteen and sat her first Buddhist meditation retreat a few years later, and knew immediately that she would devote her life to helping others discover their own indestructible happiness within. After a health scare in her early twenties, she moved to Chiang Mai, Thailand, where she lived for nine years, embarked on an extensive healing and spiritual odyssey throughout Asia, and, as a multicertified yoga teacher, served as one of the pioneer yoga teachers in that part of the world. Since then she has studied with many spiritual masters and has taught three thousand students in more than a dozen different countries. Sara's work has been featured in The Huffington Post, Yoga Journal, Fit Yoga, Pilates Style, and Yogi Times. A lover of autumn, good sleep, beautiful shoes, and dark chocolate, Sara continues to travel the world leading women’s workshops, retreats, and teacher trainings. When she’s not living out of her suitcase, she calls the mountains of Boulder, Colorado, home. Visit Sara online at www.thewayofthehappywoman.com; she would love to hear from you!
