Lauren Reitsema

Lauren Reitsema is vice president of strategy and communications at The Center for Relationship Education. Her interest in relationship skills began when her parents divorced after almost twenty years of marriage. Seeking to acquire skills to prepare for and safeguard her own future legacy, she earned her bachelor’s degree in communications and graduated as the Guild Scholar of the College of Communications at Texas Christian University. Lauren is also the author of In Their Shoes, a book dedicated to helping parents and stepparents understand the impact that divorce has on children. Additionally, she is coauthor of the REAL Essentials curriculum, CRE’s relationship education skills program. Her professional speaking career has spanned more than fifteen years, teaching young people, adults, and corporate teams purposeful and practical relationship skills. She and her husband love adventuring with their three children. Native to Colorado, they are avid skiers, outdoor enthusiasts, and Broncos fans.
